Had my 9th visit to Bardo recording studios a couple of weeks ago. Went in to record drums for REVO, a very exciting band I’ve been a part of for the last few months. Initially joined as the bass player but quickly found myself switching back to drums, as original beatkeeper Omer Gutman left for academic studies. The excellent Lior Ozeri took over bass duties and completed the lineup.
Was reminded throughout the day why I love this place so much. The room sounded great as usual, the SSL console was inspiring and devoted technicians Ofer & Ofri made it as comfortable as possible to concentrate on making music.
I’ll be mixing the tracks in next few weeks, after all additional recordings are over. In the meantime, here’s a little taste of that awesome day:
